yep! sometimes as a mage it’s really hard to tell what a pair of pants are going to look like if you’re wearing a robe, for instace.

Aye, perhaps I was a bit too hard on it — it doesn't absolutely suck, but as many G1 owners will tell you, the wonderful hardware keyboard on it certainly spoils you. Now, I also love the action on the Droid's keyboard, that's for sure, even if I don't like the ensuing keys that are exposed.

Very good review. My favorite part of the Moto Droid was the slide-out keyboard. It has a good, metallic slide to it, unlike the G1.

I didn't mind the keyboard too much. Granted, I don't use it all the time, but it seems like it's made for hacking, not end-user stuff.
